Ria Mathew, owner & head baker of Malabar Bakehouse was born & raised in a quaint seaside town called Kannur on the Malabar Coast of India. The oldest bakery in her town was founded in 1910. Growing up in a family of home bakers and in a town where there was a bakery in every corner, she was always intrigued by the magic of baking. After moving to the US in 2010, she started baking for friends & their friends. Now after a decade, Ria felt that it was about time that she opened the doors of her bakehouse to everyone because one cannot bake too many cakes, right?
We are a home bakery located in Eagan, Minnesota.
Ria Mathew is a cookbook author & a Le Cordon Bleu graduate.
Every product that I make for you is made with the same love & attention that I would put into making it for my family. Quality, consistency & customer satisfaction is our main focus. Our goal is to make your tastebuds happy!
These products are homemade and not subject to state inspection. We bake our products in a nut friendly kitchen.
